RPG provides feature rich security options to merchants and customers for online transactions.  These include:

• Merchant authentication through the use of digital certificates - ensuring the highest level of encryption available (128 bit SSL with 196 bit keys)
   
• Wide range of buyer authentication mechanisms including:
   
  • Credit Card Verification Value (CVV2) and Credit Card Verification Code (CVC2)
     
  • Address Verification Service (AVS)
     
  • Name Verification Service (NVS)
     
• Digital certificate based authentication 3D Secure developed by Visa and MasterCard to further secure “customer not present” transactions 

These features create a “trust chain” throughout the transaction, shifting the liability of fraud from the merchant to the issuer under certain conditions.
